My LG HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4522B combo doesn't reconize dvds only cds. It doesn't play dvds. Is the problem the driver? How can I solve my problem. Thanks.

No you do not need to install any driver. None is required.

In order to play dvd disks, compatible dvd decoding software (like WinDVD or PowerDVD) is required. If you already have dvd decoding software installed, then it must be for an older os... you must have a version designed for Windows XP. Either upgrade it or install newer software.
