Well, I have just searched on this site for a SB Live/Live Value DOS driver and even found one. But ... the steps are veeeeery troublesome and take lots of time.

MS-DOS ... is virtually dead. It is not sold anywhere anymore, and wł dot bootdisk dot com too contains lots of boot disks from older OSes - and it is still alive, apparently no legal threats (yet)! :hdspin:

So could I use my DOS knowledge from the past to help less experienced users by creating a custom MS-DOS 6.X boot disk they only need to write on a floppy disk, and upload it here on DriverGuide so the guys can enjoy their disk-based, classic original games again?

I doubt you would get into any trouble... but to be safe, I'd ask the owner of the application you choose to use. eg: Microsoft or other copyright owner.

Do not post our copyrighted material on any public or private website for downloading.

You wouldn't get into deep trouble for creating a boot disk, but if you distribute the MS-DOS setup disks with the sound driver with it, that would be breaking copyright. :hdspin:

I think you will not get in trouble when you do that coz all drivers are freeware....unless you distribute it with cost.....hehehehe

I dont think there is any trouble with MS Dos, It works fine

I try to figure out who can use this os anymore today :P

Just look for FreeDOS and you'll get an idea ^^
