Hi! I can't upgrade to xp/vista 64 cause i have no 64-bit drivers for this device... it's all that's holding me back form a complete upgrade. the manufacturer doesn't have any & migration services just aren't free... i wish i knew how to write my own drivers.. help would be appreciated. thanks in advance3.

So.. it looks like your current options are:

1: wait to see if a driver is released by the company
2: write your own driver.
3: hire someone to write the driver.

I know these are probably not your favorites options but I see no other.

i've just recently developed some interest in writing my own drivers for other devices & non-windows environments. i had just put this device (specifically for vista) in my list. any suggestions about that (websites, tools, books)?

I'd do a lot of reading before I attempted to install any os other than an official final release. It's only in Beta (testing) stage at this time and writing drivers for Vista X64 is expensive and quite difficult for a beginner.
