I am trying to set up Win98 on a Toshiba Protégé 3440CT notebook-pc.
It has a newly formatted harddisk. But when I am trying to boot from the cdrom, I get the error message device not found. It is an original Toshiba cdrom with PCMCIA connection (Mobile CD-rom PCMCIA Premium), art.#2793020. I think the driver is right (TOSCDROM.SYS), and my autoexec.bat and config.sys looks like this:

AUTOEXEC.BAT
@echo off
PROMPT $P$G
mscdex /D:TOSCD001 /M:10

CONFIG.SYS
device=toscdrom.sys

CAN ANYBODY HELP ??
