I have me a good old Gateway EV700 monitor and for a while now, it has been getting darker and darker. I've changed color shcemes and upped the gamma in every setting I can find and still most stuff is really dark. Can anyone help with this awful dilemma or am I going to have to deal with Gateway support staff?

I doubt drivers, settings, or Gateway can solve your problem. However a repair shop might. :)

Hey, I have a EV7oo too and its doing the same exat thing...It just started getting darker and darker one day . now i have to turn the advanced color setings to full contrast full britness to full just to see a picture at all

You need to check the cables of your monitor. I think that you have got
some problems with the cables. Check if it doesn't work then you will have to see if video card is standing properly in it's place
