Hi I have just got the DGT and I tried to "Show my Drivers" and the error message JMS_MSXML_VALIDATE_ERR came up down the bottom and the big box next to the toolbar said "there are no items to show". Please help me.

Please help me. Violist 08-07-2006, 08:27 PM Me too. Just signed up, paid for two licenses and no workie. Here are some details: OS: Windows XP Pro with all the latest patches. DG version 2.0.11 I’ve registered the product by going to help and entering my credentials. Symptoms: When I start the program and enter my membership login and password the program starts but has the following message in the bottom status bar: “ERROR: JMS_MSXML_VALIDATE_ERR” No drivers are displayed (“There are no items to show”) and clicking “Show My Drivers” does not change anything. When I look in the ‘Help’ menu there is no longer a Registration option so I assume my credentials have been stored correctly. One remote possibility; when I entered my credentials I used all upper case letters for my name Violist 08-08-2006, 11:45 PM Here's more info: I had purchased two licenses so I installed the same download on my other computer and used the same credentials (except this time I typed my name using upper and lower case). It worked correctly on the other computer. Also, on the problem computer, going to View/Computer Info does work OK. Violist 08-22-2006, 06:44 PM There is now a new version, 2.0.12, that corrected this problem for me. I got my upgrade by emailing support@driverguidetoolkit.com but the current version download on the Driverguide website may now be the correct one. |
