I have a Western Digital 80gig HDD model wd800 about 2 years old. My PC suddenly stopped booting at Verifying DMA poll data. I'm told that this is probably either a sector zero problem or a virus. I use Win98SE. Is there any utility that can read the disk or give me the chance to recover data from it if it is a sector zero problem?
