Sorry if this is a bit dumb and redundant, but how would one go about installing (or putting into a directory) a .inf driver onto a windows xp computer? I have downloaded the .exe for it, but it just downloads the .inf into my temp files. Please help.

Thanks :)

Use ADD NEW HARDWARE, select device, select HAVE DISK, point to the folder where the inf file is located.

This is another ICE AGE method:

1. All INF,DLL files copy into a folder \%windows%\INF
2. All SYS files copy into a folder \%windows%\System32\Drivers

Just make sure you are able to view hidden and system files.

Have fun!
