Windows insists on using it's own crappy built-in driver for my dvd-rw; how can i make it use the correct one?
The samsung download includes a .bin file, a help file and an auto installer, all of which seems to be working fine...until after i reboot when it's back to the same old driver.

The correct driver is the one Microsoft included with the os. There is no other. Please state what the problem is and what's wrong with the support that Microsoft provides for ALL optical drives. Ghez, all this space to type and you say nothing that will allow us to help you.
