Holland 26-03-2004,

Hello reader(s),
I own a Siemens Nixdorf PCE-5s server with 64MB ram,
8 ram's 8MB each, and every module has 10, 424400 NEC,
chips on each side, total of 20

Since a few weeks i get a memory parity error.
I have tried to replace the mem modules with other 72 pins mem

But then the computer won't start up.Ít's clear i need some new ram
modules, but since this type is not common, it shall be hard to get ,
Is there any programm that runs under Winnt 4.0 that can deturman
( spellingright??) which modul contains the error???
Why cann't i use other moduls , like 32 MB edo 60ns

Is there any one who has a manual, maybe even some moduls
i can use, since i live in holland preverably someone in holland,

Hopefully there is somebody who can help me, either with a good
idea, suggestion, manual and or modules,

Thanks for reading, maybe some help

servers as a rule REQUIRE modules with ECC ability, (Error Correction) and some also require registered modules (which by default are also ECC)

contact any memory broker and provide motherboard info and they will be able to supply correct memory type.
