I recently deleted a few files by mistake on my Windows ME computer. I deleted something called "Remover" and "ssetups.exe". From then on, my usb ports do not work anymore. Is there any way to reinstall USB support into windows so it rebuilds those few folders?

Any help would be appreciated.

Actually, thats what brought be to this website. I was looking for someway to download the USB drivers for Windows ME, but I don't know where to find it...if anyone could help me find these, it would be a huge help. Anyone know where to find them? I don't know where to look...I keep finding specific USB drivers for specific devices, but not the general driver support in Windows ME. Thank you again for your help.

You don't need to download any usb drivers...they're included with the os. When a usb controller is detected by the system all that it needs is the path to where CAB files are stored. Windows ME installs them on the hard drive by default and of course they remain on the installation disk. Point to either path and usb files will be installed automatically if the usb controller is enabled in bios setup.
