Hello everybody

I had change WNT to W98SE in a panasonic laptop, but after that can't detect the PCMCIA modem (TDK 2814C) and a message box shows a text in which says that the problem could be in the Config.sys filedue a file which is using the upper memory area, I'd already made changes in the extension fo EMM386.exe without any succes. Also I already deselected the EMMExclude lines from System.ini.
Any idea or comment will be helpful

Is the modem a Corperate unit, or aftermarket? Also what laptop are we going to try to put it in? Some motherboards must have a corperate driver for things to gell properly. Other than that, check your cmos settings and make sure that the bay is "enabled". Without more information...("how long is a piece of string?")...I don't have an answer for that either.
