I've got a future domain (now adaptec) pci scsi host adapter.
I'm trying to use it with WIN XP, but the moment I turn on the computer I wo'nt start.
tried terminating the adadpter- didnt work.
I'm gusseing I need an upgrade to my bios ??
please help
I also didnt mention I have no drivers and counting on XP plug and pray to have the correct one.
your help and response is apperciated

What Future Domain pci scsi host adapter? Model number?
Upgrading bios will have no effect on your problem. You most likely have a hardware conflict. eg: the settings used by the scsi card are conflicting with existing hardware settings. Please use device manager to see what resouces are free (unused) by your system. Then reconfigure the scsi card to one of those free resources. It cannot share irq, i/o address with other hardware... :gabby:
