I received this tower from my brother, its an older HP Pavilion 6350. The basice operating system on it was Windows 98, I upgraded to XP with a cd. I have neither cd'd for my computer. Not sure of any of the manufacturer or other info.
The problem is I get no sound whatsoever.
I've talked to techs from several places, several times each, including HP. My device is updated, not muted, and the concern the techs told me thought not compatible systems. I don't really know where else/ how to search on here.
Where do I start? What driver can help me? I've tried the Crystal WDM that was on here originally, and updating but no luck. Please help!

HP most likely never made any XP drivers for this machine. So that leaves you with os support. If XP doesn't support it either, then your probably out of luck using it in Windows XP.
