I have an HP DV5040us laptop with a Conexant cx20468 @ atisb400 - ac'97 onboard sound.. and HP does not support x64 They just use 64 bit processors for the selling feature.

For $1600 I would die to have sound. windows update, The internet.. I cannot find an x64 Ac-link Audio driver anywhere...

PLEASE help... 3rd party anything...

If HP said it didn't exist, then I'd tend to believe them. I can see no reason why they would lie about it.
