I have just purchased a Belkin 3 Port Firewire card (F5U500) and installed it in my computer. Windows XP recognized it as an IEEE 1394 Host controller and tried to install "Texus Intruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller" but before the install finishes it says
An error occured during the installation of the device
The data is invalid
I have tried downloading a driver of driverguide, and it said the same thing... I also tried the "OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller" but it does the same thing. This is really frustrating me!!! I'm not sure where to go from here. I also tried to look up the card on the internet and google only returns a couple results for my model and none of them contain special driver downloads. The manual says Windows should automatically install the software for me and the CD that came with the card has no drivers on it.
