hi evreyone,
i have a sound card of aureal semicondutor. i purchased it in 1999 december. on the driver CD is written AMAZYING & a3d. now i have upgraded my operating system to winXP. it shows a yellow exclamation mark in the device manager against the option multifunction device under the headinf sound and game controllers while rest of the options under the same heading are showing the driner to be working properly.
for the multifuction device it shows that the driver is not installed. i tried to load the drivers downloaded from internet but it showed the messagge:
" drivers for Aureal Vortex 8820 audio(WDm) could not be installed."
please help me

Compay has been out of business for quite some time. No Windows XP drivers were ever written for this device.
