Hi,
I've downloaded driver for 9636 USB driver and the instructions say to go to your site and run a 2000/XP patch - i can't find that patch anywhere- can you tell me where to look please.
Copy of intrcutions:
3. Install the WidowView CD-ROM. Do not reboot the computer when completed.

4. Run the XP/2000 patch file from our site and reboot when completed.

5. Connect the scanner and Windows should find New Hardware.

I doubt the term "Run the XP/2000 patch file from our site" refers to driverguide.com. Most likely it refers to the original Devcom website which is no longer. Without a filename, there's not much we can do. When referring to a file located on driverguide.com, please provide the url to it.
The only driver I found on driverguide.com for this scanner is this one:

And it states nothing about running any patch.
