hey i am an amateur computer person and i cant find out what type of sound card driver i need. it is stock sound card so if anyone will help me find out what type of sound driver i need, email me at: cottaz_da_bomb@hotmail.com. the computer is a packard bell IMEDIA M857

We had nothing to do with building your pc so how would we know what hardware Packard Bell installed in it? That task is up to you since you (after all) are the one who has possession of the pc. If you are unable to id what sound device is installed, I suggest you take it to a competent repair shop. There are other ways to id a sound device.
1: Look, engaging brain and eyeballs is a must

2: Use hardware id software like Belarc Advisor.
or visit the manufacturers websites...they usually have drivers and information about the pc's they build.
