I recently got an old IBM PII 266mhz laptop with win98 SE to play with. I plugged in the spare mouse (corded Dell mouse with a scroll wheel, non-optical, the black one with a Dell logo on it which is the standard mouse on their recent systems), the mouse works, but the scroll wheel does not. Is that a driver problem? Or win98 SE simply does not support scroll mice?
