hello, i bought hard drive with box (USB2, model ME-320X) but my laptop does not recognize any device.

The disk has something for Windows 98 but I have XP

I tried to download USB 2 drives for XP but Windows does not accept.

I also formated the hard drive.

Do u know how I can solve this ing problem?

I have almost the same trouble, but with windows 98 and all because I lost the installation disk with drivers.

Usually when I connect the usb hard disk to any pc with windows XP, the pc automatically reconize the device.

maybe you should go to pc tools and activate the usb conection of your pc, as I told you the XP reconize by itself the hard disk.

try to connect the hard disk and turn it on after you turn on your pc and youŽre working normally in windows, and not at the beggining.

now be so kind and please send me the disk info in a file.

The drivers for USB 2 are in service pack 1 for WXP, get them from microsoft and download service pak 1!
