I have windows 3.11 for workgroups and I really like it becouse it loads in and sets up very quickly. Problem is that it does not see my modem and vidio display I have all the drivers just not sure how to install them
it seems the setup programs will not work in this version of windows is there a way to do it manualy? I have the ati 3d rage IIC agp vidio and the us robotics v.92 56k PCI fax modem rbenjudah@aol.com

since you fail to state just WHICH drivers you have or where aquired from. you are expecting just what from us?

vendor sites take the time to post directions online and also include them in the driver files. as "readme" you need to be able to learn how to help yourself by understanding that only you can make the effort to look and read such files.

the ATI rage chip i know has win3.1 drivers posted on the ATI web site.


windows 3.1 setup is accesed by going into the windows dir and typing windows. (note the being in the windows dir!!) if you are not in the windows dir this will just start windows normally and you use control panel to change settings.
