Tape drives don't have "other" interfaces. Most have scsi, ide, or parallel port interfaces . Support comes from the backup software... not from drivers. The backup application used must include support for the device... or it won't work. There are several vendors for backup software including:
"Stomp Backup My PC", Veritas software (both desktop and server versions), Cheyenne Software Arcserv.... (to name a few) and may include Colorado Backup II from HP for some drives.
