I have looked everywhere for this driver, When HP took over compaq things got messed up and the support for the older devices in nonexistant.

support is quite good....however the support assumes that you have a BASIC understanding of windows/tape backup requirements.
you like most people posting here fail to realise that backup support for scsi backup devices comes from the BACKUP APPLICATION ITSELF in allmost all cases.
purchase a backup application that lists your OS and tape unit model (and scsi hardware in some special cases)
