I need software to get my portable Tape Xchange backup unit to work.

Unit plugs into Parallel interface port on the PC.

Old software disk i have has file TXplus.exe which loads the software.

Problem is that the backup software does not run as it doesn't recognise the tape unit.

Software works on Windows 95/98 OS.

Even if a tape backup maker supports this unit under XP with their backup software i doubt that the data formats will be the same. i recomend reinstalling the device under 98 restoring the data to a Hard Drive or CDrom and then moving the data over to the XP system running XP compatable tape hardware/software.
