desktop.cpl file for windows nt to adjust control pannel, display settings

Unregistered 05-02-2004, 04:00 PM Search your hard drive and/or win NT or XP CD for desk.cpl. The copy windows uses is in c:\Windows\System32, but if you find a copy elsewhere (c:\I386 is a possibility, so is SP1-uninstall folder), copy it to c:\windows\System32. Rename (to backup) then overwrite the file that's there. Remember it's desk.cpl not desktop.cpl. |
