Good day!!
My boss has been using ACER Extensa 367D for 5 years. I just currently networked all the pc's in our department. He wanted to add his pc in our workgroup.. but the Lan card that I bought seems not compatible with his Laptop.
Is LINKSYS EtherFast Integrated Cardbus PC Card compatible with ACER Extensa 367D? If not what Lan card do you suggest that may work?

Obviously your laptop must be cardbus compatible.
So far I found this info from and Intel site
"You can combine a 16-bit and 32-bit card as long as you are using a CardBus compatible laptop. Virtually all new laptops since 1997 are CardBus capable. A CardBus compatible laptop can accommodate either type of card. Older, 16-bit laptops can only accommodate 16-bit cards.
The spec for your Laptop says
"PCCard Support
O2Micro OZ6832 CardBus controller
1 Type III or 2 Type II / Type I"
the Linksys user manual says that if your card slides in all the way then you have a cardbus slot, however....
"Do I Need to Update My Card and Socket Services?
Yes. CardBus PC Cards require different service configurations than older PC Cards. Most CardBus PCs have pre-installed services that will allow you to fully utilize your CardBus slot. If you are upgrading your hardware and need to obtain new services, most manufacturers supply free downloadable upgrades on their Web sites. If you don't have Web access, then contact your CardBus slot's manufacturer. Keep in mind that CardBus is not supported under DOS. Linksys drivers have client enablers built-in so the card can be used under some DOS-based network operating systems."
I would make sure that you connect the laptop to the network however you did it before and upgrade the OS.
Also, Linksys makes a 16bit version , model PCM100 that might be more apt to work.
