CHUCK Jerry K 10-16-2003, 01:17 PM We cannot determine the motherboard maker using the information you provided. Please note the bios id string that appears on the lower left of your monitor screen during bootup. Use the PAUSE key to freeze the screen so you can write the string down. Repost with that bios id string and we can help. :hdspin: limey 11-20-2003, 09:50 PM i have a board with a pent 3 i cannot find the maker i have a part number DAOB1SMB4F4 AND P3BX B1S-301 CAN ANYONE HELP THANKS. Notebooks from DELL are actually manufactured by Quanta, and Business Week ranks them the No.14 of the Top100 IT companies in the world, just 4 places behind Microsoft. However, they still went out of business and no longer support their boards, If you go to the Quanta site, they don't even mention their boards! limeybiker 11-21-2003, 06:06 PM Q-Lity, which is a daughter of Taiwan's Quanta Corporation. Many thanks Don, I managed to get the mobo installed and running with a windows ME 4Gb hdd, ran Belarc, isn't that tool wonderfull, it gave me the full id including Quanta BISP asset tag 0123ABC. Unfortunately the PIII 600, sent with the mobo, turned out to be a faulty PIII 450, but the board came up when I installed with a PII 350. The ID10T, sent the AGP card and an NIC card in the same bag, lots of loose capacitors fell out when I unwrapped. Buyer beware. Ride safe. Limey Wes 12-09-2003, 06:38 AM I have this same board. Slot one, 4 PCI, 2 ISA, no on board sound. I have no manual, drivers, nothing. All the numbers that were posted by Chuck are the same. There is a sticker on my board that has (F3B with 21B1SMB0010 below it) A friend of mine gave it to me because he did a bad flash. I have done some research and may be able to fix it, but need the BIOS program. Is there is anyone out there that can help, please! Wes (Det8teen@aol.com) |
