I have recently updated our OPOS printers to Epson Thermal TM88 III partial cut printers. The problem is it they now prints garbage, even after removing the previous Epson drivers. Is there something that I have missed or a driver tweak that isn't mentioned in the Epson pages?

Hi, Have you tried to print from dos. Usually just a simple dir > prn will do the trick depending on the printer setup. How are they setup Com port or lpt port. What software are you trying to print from. It may be that the software you are trying to print from needs to be configured to the new printer settings. And as you seem to be having the same problem with more than one then I am assuming that it might be a setup issue.

Try this: Open Wordpad, select the font A11 (Epson printer font), then select font size 9.5 (the only option it shows). Type in some text and try to print it.
