I am in need of a driver for:
Notebook IBM ThinkPad 760 EL Type 9547x6H S/N 555W63C, Pentium(r) Processor GenuineIntel with 64.0 MB RAM.

Ms Windows 98 4.10.1998 Cd-rom Hitachi CDR-S100

Monitor adapter: IBM ThinkPad(Cyber9320) PCI

Monitor: Unspecified Hardware version not applicable.

I don't know what monitor it is. There's no label saying what it is. I can't break it open. It's a notebook, not a desktop!

Standard is installed Laptob display panel (800x600).
Please just provide me with a general driver package for ThinkPad 760EL or even better with how to find out the device' name.

Generally speaking, laptops do not have "monitors". They have "displays". Your incorrect term of describing your hardware was the reason you got the response I posted. It's ok to request anything for a notebook in the notebook section but next time give your hardware it's proper name. Again you must get laptop support from the laptop maker. Finding IBM's website doesn't take a rocket scientology degree to access. eg: www.ibm.com

but I've been on Ibm.com before searching google.

Otherwise I also wouldn't be humbling myself to ask you twice. Thanks by the way.

I can imagine that IBM after some time just shuts off the websites with "older" drivers. Possible?

To be short, I didn't find any, except for the usual monitor.inf
But maybe I'm just wasting your precious time.
