I need a recovery disc for the HP Pavilion 6640C. I bought it in 5/2000 and no recovery disc came with it (as I am just finding out). HP tech support is no help and I have looked everywhere. Please help me !!!!!

If no recovery disks are available from HP, then your only hope is to find someone willing to make copies and send to you. The other choice is rather difficult and that's to locate all hardware drivers and install them seperately one by one. Time consuming but works. If you go that route, then you gotta identify all hardware. I can tell you that the modem-sound is Riptide Chameleon (drivers for that hardware is posting in our user uploads section). However, the remainder of your hardware will need to be determined by you and posted for anyone to be able to help.
