Please can anyone help me, l have a ASUS Motherboard P5-99MV, AMD K6-2/450MHz. I want to put a bigger Hard Disk (40GB), but it can't see it, l have downloaded the latest BIOS from their site but for some wierd reason l can't get the options l need to use to update, l have contacted Tech Support and send an email explaining my situation and as yet nobody has come to me, please if any one out there can help, it will be much appreciated.

windows 2000 need to be installed on 4gig or smaler partition.
what program do you use to instal the drive?
windows 98 should give you FDISK, and each drive manufacturer has propriatory software for unlimited modification to just about any configuration, like Maxtor has MaxBlast running on CALDERA
Anyways, all new drives come preset to plug and play on all standard operating systems, user iliteracy excluded.

dont worry about asus got ther update bios download and now i get infomation in bios incorrect i have a new motherboard P4S333 AND ALL I CAN SAY IS I WILL NEVER BUY THIS CRAP AGAIN there suport is woefull
and the board is not crash hot my old one was better the newer they get the more problems you get because they rush them to get them on the market before all the others same as soundblaster they say it never gets out of date hah i have a soundblaster live 4.0 i updated to livewear 3 but now its out of date i cant get anymore as they changed to liveware 5.0 this will not run on the 4.0 and will not update it so mutch for there junk too
best advice chuck it in the bin and get another i am
