IDE hard drives do not require drivers. All support for this device is provided by the system bios and proper ide controller drivers. If you have a working ide port connected (and pc bios set to drive specs or just auto) and drive jumpered properly, it will be detected during bootup. If you're having a problem, please explain what it is and include some details.

Well, I´ve noticed a strange behavior wiv my SV1021D HDD. It just won´t format or delete archives, or Low Level Format, or even allow to erase partition or MBR´s. I´ve tried everything, and the contents of this "samsung pearl" remains intact. Any solutions? Do i need a Firmware or something to fix this BIG problem? My IDE is working 100%. I´ve put another HDD to test it, and it´s OK.

Please... I don´t want to throw away 10GB anyway.
