A friend gave me an old notebook (Acer TravelMate 7100TE) in order for me to work on it next year; I also wanted to use it as a jukebox for my mp3's, but it seems to miss the audio drivers! The sound card is a NeoMagic MagicWave 3D Sound System. The Acer website no longer gives help about so old a notebook, and the NeoMagic one doesn't give support at all about drivers. In my request, I selected "IDE interface" because I was forced to select something, but in fact I don't know it at all.

If someone could help me... Or sould I get a better notebook? Is there any hope?
