Inputing a cd rom i'm unable to have audio. The system tells me I don't have the driver and need to insert the "SB PCI DRIVER DISK", it tells me I'm missing the pci multimedia audio driver. I'm not sure where to get such a driver or what to even ask for to get this disk. I don't know what the interface is, either.

PLEASE HELP ASAP. This disk is needed for study.

here's a few concept's for you to consider......
1. sound requests belong in the SOUND FORUM and not in the storage forum
2. ignoring all posted directions/faq links that we provide to help you will leave you as you are now (not knowing what to do)
get with the program......READ. ensonic AUDIO PCI sound chips are quite common and drivers can be located in numerous places with little effort once you have read our directions.
we do not think that opening the system, noting the sound card and the markings printed on it or looking for a chip on the motherboard marked ensonic is that hard for you to do.
