I need some help. My HDD has some problems.I have a Maxtor HDD ATA/133 40 Gb and is not recognized by Bios Phoenix 6.0. I did made some test with the MaxBlast 3 tester and at one of them i found the problems.

First the link betwen HDD and Bios is broken and the only things that the Bios nows about my HDD is that the manufacturer is Maxtor and is 40Gb.He as no information about partition on the HDD.

More simplified, when i start my PC after he makes the tests for memorie and finds my master and slave drives is writted on bottom of all that "Primary Disk Diagnosys Failed".

And you have it connected to a ATA 133 controller...right?

You are connecting a ATA133 40 gb (which is a IDE drive, not a scsi as stated) hard drive how???

1: boot drive jumpered as master to primary ide port?

2: 2nd drive jumpered as slave to primary port?
Instead of all that gibberish, try stating some details and terms that are understandable.
