Found my CD after searching everywhere for the driver.
may also be known as:

my camera is the metal cased square camera with 8 white LED's for low light!
this is the installer from the supplied product CD :) Hope it helps someone else out! (and me when i lose the CD again!)

Hi, i am so glad that i discover this site.

I just bought a webcam and i have been trying for hours to intall the driver in vain. It came with a disk but during instalation it will ask me to insert another disk that contains file layout.bin. My driver is the following Vimicro USB PC camera (ZC 301 PLH). I will really appreciate your help.

im having probs with this web cam, ive downloaded the driver from this site for it, run the disk it came with and tried the manufacturers site..the driver is installing fine but when connect cam- message comes up "no video capture connected" and in device manager says it not working cos cant find the software..my comps w xp has any one got any ideas as to what driver i can try???plzzzzz.....

sigh.... so do you have a problem with reading English or clicking on hyperlinks like that in post #2? It appears you have one or the other, or possibly both.

HP PRINTER D2300 eh? not a premium member name choice to use when your looking for a vimicro zc0301PL driver.
