I am searching on behalf of a friend, who bought his Pocket Cam 4000 only a month ago. Drivers were successfully installed, using the original software cd, on his own Win 98 PC. However, he wants to install the camera on another Win 98 PC, that he is taking to his children in Ireland. He has throat cancer - it is important to him and his children that he can leave them with photos of them all together when he returns to England. The original cd does not work - the installation process runs, but the driver is then not recognised by the PC. Does anyone have an appropriate driver for this device, that they can send me, or that I can download? I'd be very grateful.

Make sure you have USB support turned ON in the PC's BIOS or the installation will fail. Make sure that you install the driver PRIOR to pluging the Camera in. Also, make SURE that you have the latest update(s) to the other PC, i.e. SP1 and all the other critical updates to this PC.
