Is it really a case of "it doesn't work" or "I am unable to get it to work"? I doubt any manufacturer would post non-working drivers. Why would they? Everything to loose and nothing to gain.
Do you have free resources available for the modem to use, irq and i/o address? If not then the modem cannot work.
