I have a lexmark all in one x125 for some reason the scanner won't work, the printer,copier and fax all work but not scanner It says computer can not detect scanner. I've tried to install it again but can't get it to work. It used to work. any ideas

A good start would be to state what operating system you have and what drivers you currently have installed along with installation details and where you got the driver/s. Also a status report from Device Manager (if Windows is your os) might prove helpful. We cannot see your computer or what you have done to it so providing some details might be a start in getting help.

We cannot see your computer or what you have done to it so providing ome dtails might be a start in getting help. windows xp Heck I have no idea what drivers, when I go to device manager the printer is on there but nothing on scanner. I tried reinstalling scanner but it doesn't work. This all in one came with a cd but it doesn't work either. I have no idea how to send you a status report. This is the first time I 've used this site so excuse me I didn't know what kind of info to include. Sorry
