I have a new plug-n-play 2.0 High-Speed Portable Iomega Hard drive but when I plug it into my computer a message appeares from the New Hardware detected system tray icon that says, a high-speed device (2.0) has been detected on a non high-speed port(1.0) click on this message for troubleshooting info., and when I click it says I need to upgrade my 1.0 plug-n-play port to a 2.0. How do I do that? I was assuming that I need a driver or maybe a USB hub, can anyone help?

OH Ya, my computer is a Compaq Presario 5062 w/ XP home

do what it is telling you.....

install a USB 2.0 card and connect the iomega to it.

usb 1.0 will limit your max xfer/burning speed.

and since this is covered in DETAIL in your manual and also on the iomega web site i think that in the future you should READ YOUR DIRECTIONS BEFORE ASKING!!!!!!!
