It appears Windows (XP) has lost the config for my SCSI Host Adapter which is an Adaptec AHA 151x/152x. And because of this my CD Writer is not showing up in Windows but is detected on startup.
Anyone any Ideas tried the Adaptec Website but its useless.

remove the adapter then reboot your computer/ have your windows installation disk handy.
