my system went down and my reboot disk was shot. how do i get a new reboot disk everyone i know rus win xp? can some one help me? or am i S.O.L.!!! if you can help thank you very much email at rodneytretz@netzero.net

There are multiple sites on the internet that offer a Windows ME (DOS) boot disk that will enable your drive when it's used to boot the pc... it won't boot into Windows ME but rather to a DOS prompt and at the same time, enable an ide cd-rom drive.

Probably a Windows 98 boot disk will work equally well... I just haven't tested one to make sure. :)

You can try bootdisk.com. They have boot disk downloads for most Windows OS.
