I'm installing a realtek rtl8029 (as) PCI Ethernet PCI using plug and play. I've recently reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows 98 SE. I thought I had backed up necesarry drivers. The wizard requires me to insert win 98 while building the driver and requires 7 files including secur32.dll; ndis.vxd; rtl8029.sys etc all of which I could locate on driverguide EXCEPT svrappi.dll. I'm directing the wizard to my A: drive where I have saved dowloads since internet is on different computer. If anyone has the required file and/or any tips for a novice it would be much appreciated. -jimmyknee

go back and "look" at this forums header.....do you see anything in this forums description related to ETHERNET?? we sure don't
this post belongs in the "networking forum"
also note that simply visiting the realtek site for the latest 8029 series driver would have restored all nessary files much quicker and with less hassles/issues. SEE WHAT READING directions can do? 15min reading 5 min downloading from vendor site, instead of all the time you have spent so far trying to locate files one by one....
