I need something called PCI Network Controller for a computer that runs WIN98. Installed a NIC, but can't use it, because the PCI NEtwork Controller is missing.

this is one of the poorest postings i have seen here in quite a while.
besides not knowing the system maker or model, you also post vague statements such as "installed a NIC" but need drivers.....brilliant move sherlock......and we are supposed to determine WHICH nic maker or nic chip used on this card just HOW!!!!
you want help????...try the method of reading directions and trying to provide revelant information besides your current:
I installed some unknown nic in my unknown system and i need drivers for this unknown nic card.
sheech.....another brain in "off" mode when posting.
