Hello. I've searched on this site and tried many of the drivers for my Sidewinder, and have had no success. I also tried the drivers on the Microsoft website and have had no success with them either. My Sidewinder Standard uses the 15-pin connection, and I've had it since ~1997. This joystick has been there through good times and bad times, and I decided to bring it out to play some flight games again just recently. However, I keep getting a message in the game controllers section that the device is not connected. I can see that this is a problem with many of the older Sidewinder products, but there are fixes out there for those ones. I haven't been able to find a fix for this problem, and I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this one.
Once again, my joystick is a Sidewinder Standard (not 3d pro, FF, or anything like that), and it uses the 15-pin connector.
