I have the installation disk for this stick and had it working perfectly on my old system which was Windows Millenium Edition. I just got a new computer which is running XP, and it has no gameport so I had to use the USB adaptor to plug it in. The installation disk that came with the stick when I bought it had errors in compatablility with XP when I tried to install it. I downloaded MS_Sidewinder_FF_Pro.zip from your site and it was the same as my disk. Is it possible to run this stick on XP?

Guys,

In Windows XP, go to Control Panel/Printers & Other Hardware/Game Controllers.

When the add controller dialog appears, select SideWinder (Auto Detect) from the list of Joysticks presented.

It detects the joystick and enables rudder, throttle, POV hat and all buttons incl. force feedback.The nice thing is, it detects it as MS Force Feedback Pro - so it seems MS supports this joystick, but not officially.

I have XP patched to SP3.
