I have a Farallon NetLINE 10/100 PCI PN993 network card that runs through a multi-computer router. I have a computer that I recently had to format the hard drive (due to a virus that corrupted my Sys.Ini file) and reinstall Windows 98. My problem is that I had to find and reinstall all the drivers for the card, but I only have 2, before I formatted the hard Drive I remember seeing something called an "Existing NDIS2 Driver" and it isn't there now, my question is what is the "existing NDIS2 Driver" and where can I find it?

First of all, you do not have a "multi-computer router" you have either a plain router.... or a DSL/CABLER ROUTER. and the router has "Ports" to allow connections to ethernet "PORTS"

next you seem to be having a problem with the concept of "Existing" please look up in the dictionary the definition of Existing (eg- as in allready there)

the NDIS2 DRIVER is loaded (or will allready be there "as in Existing") when the Network Card's drivers are installed.

in otherwords the Farallon NetLINE 10/100 PCI PN993 network card's driver (when installed) causes the NDIS2 DRIVER to be loaded by windows.

last, read this sites Directions/faq links to learn how to ID and locate your required drivers.
