Can any one help me?
I've got a Pavilion zv6170us came stock with this seemingly unsupported drive. I've had lots of trouble getting this drive to write cd's, dvd's, and even read discs on occasion. I've looked on HP's site and found nothing regarding this drive. I even posted a message on their support forum (http://forums.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?threadId=1028834) and the only responses I've got have been others with the same problem. I even went to Samsung, Toshiba, and TSSTCorp, and still have yet to find any good leads.
Has anyone had any luck finding any support for the TS-L532R?

I doubt your drive has a SCSI interface since nearly all drives built in the last 5 years have IDE interfaces. And I believe it's built by Samsung not TSST. Sounds like a defective drive to me.
