No drivers are required for this drive when using it in any Windows os from 95 up.
Please remove any drivers in autoexec.bat and config.sys as those are for operating in pure DOS mode only.
When properly connected/configured, the os should recognize the drive during bootup and a listing should appear in Device Manager under CD-ROM showing the drive (without any user intervention). If the os fails to detect the drive, here are the most common reasons:
1: Improperly connected ide ribbon cable or defective cable/connectors.

2: Master/Slave jumper not set correctly.

3: Problem with the ide port to which the drive is connected or...

4: Wrong ide drivers installed.

5: IDE port is disabled in bios.

6: Improperly flashed firmware

7: Defective drive.
